Light, yellow color. The nose first presents aromas of white flowers and citrus. This is confirmed in the mouth and more tropical fruits appear. However, the wine remains nice and fresh and enjoys a remarkable balance. The finish is long and also nicely balanced.

Le Secret des Vignes is a series of monovarieties that are a general representation of the different terroirs in the Loire. They are an introduction to the domain and are happy to be tasted with various dishes and flavours. Delicious as a tasty aperitif, but also with grilled fish, seafood and chicken in the oven filled with herbs and lemon.

Saumur has a maritime climate with rain all year round. Warm summers with cooling from the sea and cold winters.

soil

Several plots located in the Saumur area. The soil is dominated by limestone and clay.

vinification

After a few days of cold maceration on the skins, the fermentation is started on its lees in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. It then rests on its lie for another 5 months to extract optimal flavor and structure. The wine is then bottled and ready for consumption.
